I liked too much this topic because i always thought that this career needs many changes. My main problem with this career is that I feel it is very anachronistic and has a little updated approach to current anthropology. Compared with other universities that have this career I think that this one has too much focus on indigenous issues. And yes, its okay have that focus in part, because the development of the anthropology was in context of indigenous investigation, and yes we have the case of the mapuche and all the investigation problems linked with their culture, but such a specific approach can generate a closure with anthropology in other parts of the world. As Miguel de Unamuno said "Fascism is cured by reading and xenophobia is removed traveling" maybe we need to focus our career in that, in the diversity of human groups but linked directly with them ...
