What is your opinion on the social networks and the effect they have on society?

I think the social networks are one of the most incredible things of the internet, the magnitude of the connections between people with a lot of physical distance and with the possibility of close contact in thing of seconds makes this tool something very powerful, but specifically for that reason this tool is something who need a lot of responsability. The thing is that none of us expected problem with social networks like the virus "WannaCry" or the plot of Facebook with Cambridge Analytica it teach us in a negative form how can work the data filtering and why something as simple like the "terms and conditions" of social networks were something we should have read years ago. The social networks could be a good thing in fact, but the tecnology must advance with regulations also.The free market of capitalism is free of the "chains" of the state  to the point of not needing the government backing to operate terribly... We are prepared for the era of the sale of personal dates ?

Is religion harmful or useful to modern society?

Religion is one the last globalizing discourses before the globalization who still alive, because knew how to adapt the faith beyond social classes or realities, for being honest, i dont believe the religion is something harmful to the society but i dont know what would happen with the non-existence of religion because this is often one of the governing principles of human life. I think is moment to reconsider what means the religion for us in the modern society, because in that way we can give it the positive values we want 

What is your opinion on the idea that marriage is an outdated institution?

 The human has evolved enough to understand in different ways the loving union and that union is something that can go beyond marriage

And finally a funny one: Going out or Netflix and chill?

I dont use netflix a lot, i prefer watch videos in youtube or play something in my moments for relax, for being honest i use Netflix when i eat because i love a lot the food documentaries so i can eat something delicious and learn more about the history and traditions related with the food

Changes to anthropology

I liked too much this topic because i always thought that this career needs many changes. My main problem with this career is that I feel it is very anachronistic and has a little updated approach to current anthropology. Compared with other universities that have this career I think that this one has too much focus on indigenous issues. And yes, its okay have that focus in part, because the development of the anthropology was in context of indigenous investigation, and yes we have the case of the mapuche and all the investigation problems linked with their culture, but such a specific approach can generate a closure with anthropology in other parts of the world. As Miguel de Unamuno said "Fascism is cured by reading and xenophobia is removed traveling" maybe we need to focus our career in that, in the diversity of human groups but linked directly with them ... I know, it is difficult to make a whole generation travel around the world to meet people from other cultures, ...

My first concert(s)

When i was a kid, i use to claimed to my parents why i couldn't go to a concert like my others classmates, its something interesting to think today because was my female classmates who went to concerts like Hanna Montana or Jonas Brothers and my male classmates received videogames and cellphones. It was something very ridiculous as they separated by gender the gifts that they gave to my classmates, however I wanted to go to a concert with great enthusiasm. I resigned myself to thinking that i could never go to a concert, but the 2014 my brother bought the more cheaper tickets to lollapalooza 2015 because my father gave us that gift for our birthdays. I was very excited because it wasn't only the first concert of my life, but it would be in many concerts in two days.  That's why I mentally prepare myself to endure the heat and prepare a map to go see all the artists I wanted. What is your opinion about the immigration situation in Chile? For me, the current immigration is a mixture of elements that converged in what is now lived in Chile, and reflects two faces of globalization that are unexpected and uncomfortable. On the one hand, the climate destruction and corruption that hampered Haiti, and on the other, the exacerbation of mercantile capitalism and the economic growth that Chile has with growing inequality.
